I am a freelance writer, editor and author based in the UK
I’m in the process of writing a book on eBay, the online auction site. Its working title is Great Brand Stories: eBay, the brand that taught millions of strangers to trust one another. It will be published by Cyan Books this autumn. I have also recently completed ghostwriting a business book for a marketing guru. My first book, Great Ikea, a brand for all the people was published by Cyan Books in 2005. It was listed in the top five business books of the year by The Times, an English newspaper.
I write for British newspapers such as The Financial Times, The Guardian and The Independent and business magazines such as Brand Strategy, The Marketor, Cream, Marketing Week and New Media Age. I was the former editor of Brand Strategy, the international marketing journal. I am often asked to comment on branding for broadcast media, appearing on The Money Programme BBC2, Channel 5, Sky News, Bloomberg TV, BBC World Service, BBC Radio 5, Radio 4 and local BBC radio.
I also work as a writer and consultant for business. My clients include a global consumer goods company, a management consultant, a brand consultancy and a web company. My work varies from writing case studies, to writing monthly newsletters, to writing copy for new websites, to proofing and editing books and consultancy.
I’m writing a chapter on The Winter’s Tale in a book on Shakespeare and business. It’s being published and organised by a writer’s society that I belong to called 26. www.26.org.uk |
